Classical Arabic Language Programme

Based on the Primers taught in the Classical Curriculum of the Farangī Maḥall

What is this Programme About?

In the near future, we are launching a programme that directly engages with primers once central to the classical Dars-i Niẓāmī curriculum—many of which are no longer taught, especially in the West.

Why Should I Join this Programme

While various modern methods of teaching Arabic and logic now exist, students often still experience fundamental gaps in their understanding and struggle to access more advanced texts in these subjects.

As part of our effort to revive these classical works, we want students to experience them firsthand—to see for themselves how these texts once laid the foundational understanding for key subjects such as Arabic syntax (naḥw), etymology (ṣarf), and logic (manṭiq).

Formal Introductory Treatise to Mīzān al-Ṣarf

Before launching our formal Arabic programme, we invite you to journey through the Muqaddimah transmitted with Mīzān al-Ṣarf—the chosen gateway into a structured study of Classical Arabic, formulated by Mullā Niẓām al-Dīn al-Sihālawī within the Farangī Maḥall tradition.

The programme will be launching soon.

Mir Sayyid Sharīf al-Jurjānī’s
Ṣughrā & Kubrā

A Complete Study of Two Foundational Texts in Logic — in Persian and English

Central to the Farangī Maḥall tradition, Ṣughrā and Kubrā serve as excellent entry points into logic, offering a clear conceptual architecture that reorients it from abstract theory to a practical and purposeful tool, especially when studied through the Khairābādī pedagogical framework. This study provides a strong foundation for entry into the late-classical maʿqūlāt tradition.
